SAT - 1500
The SAT is the most widely used standardized college admissions tests.  It is offered by the College Board and includes three sections – Critical Reading, Math, and Writing.  Each individual content area is scored on a scale of 200-800.   The maximum score is 2400.  As a general guideline of college readiness, students should strive for 500 on each section for a total score of 1500 or above.

ACT - 21
 
The ACT is a curriculum-based college admissions test. It measures students' academic readiness for college in English, mathematics, reading, and science. The ACT also includes an optional Writing Test. Each assessment is scored on a scale of 1-36, and then scores are averaged to a composite score of 1-36. As a general guideline of college readiness, students should strive for 21 or greater on each section and a composite score of 21 or above.
