This standardized assessment is designed by the College Board for 8th grade students. The assessment is a paper and pencil test with three multiple choice sections: Critical Reading, Writing Skills, and Mathematics. Each section is 40 minutes in length and scored according to a scale ranging from 1-7 (in 0.1 increments). Results from this assessment help inform student preparation for high school and college.

This standardized assessment is designed by ACT for 8th or 9th grade students. The assessment is a paper and pencil test with four multiple choice sections:  English, Mathematics, Reading, and Science.  Each section is 30 minutes in length and scored according to a scale ranging from 1-25. Each student receives a composite score which is simply the average of the test scores in English, Mathematics, Reading, and Science rounded to a whole number. Results from this assessment provide feedback about strengths and areas of growth in different content areas and helps inform student preparation for high school and college.
